KuaiAPI ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use kuaiapi.net (the "Service"), how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: the email address and other details you provide when you register.
• Usage data: records of API requests, models and tokens consumed, timestamps, and diagnostic data needed to meter and bill usage accurately.
• Technical data: IP address, browser/device type, and log data collected while using the Service.
• Payment information: we do not store full card details. If you pay through a payment processor, that processor processes your payment and may collect payment information under its own privacy policy.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to provide and maintain the Service, meter usage and issue invoices, process payments, prevent fraud and abuse, improve the Service, and communicate with you about your account and the Service.

3. Cookies and Tracking

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect functionality.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with payment providers (for example, the processor that powers your checkout) to complete transactions, and with service providers (hosting, analytics, or infrastructure vendors) that help us operate the Service, under appropriate confidentiality obligations. We may share with legal authorities where required by law or to protect our rights.

Third-party model providers may process the content of your API requests in order to generate responses; their processing is governed by their own policies. This means your request content is transferred outside your country of residence: our servers are located in Hong Kong SAR, China, and the model providers operate in other jurisdictions. We do not control how long those providers retain data. Please do not submit data that you are not permitted to transfer abroad.

5. Data Retention

We retain data only as set out below. Backup snapshots are rotated, so deleted data disappears once the rotation completes.

• Account information — while your account is active; deleted or anonymized within 30 days after you request closure.
• Content-safety hits (matched keyword + up to a 240-character excerpt) — 180 days.
• Content-safety non-hits — no longer recorded (since 2026-09-15); existing rows are cleared on a 3-day rolling basis.
• Violation counters (rolling window) — 30 days.
• Admin audit logs — 180 days.
• Billing and usage metadata (including IP address) — long-term, kept for billing, reconciliation and dispute handling; no automatic deletion.
• Service and error logs — long-term, rotated for operations.
• Database backups (full snapshots, containing the categories above) — 3 days local + 30 days off-site; 3 copies in total, rotated.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@kuaiapi.net.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page; continued use after changes are effective constitutes acceptance.
