Change your profile, avatar, and password
Go to your profile
After logging in, click the user menu at the bottom left/top right → "Profile".
What you can change
| Item | Description |

| Display name / Avatar | For display on the site only; does not affect functionality |
| Login email | After changing it, log in with the new email next time (some sites require verifying the new email) |
| Password | The old password stops working immediately after you change it |
Notes on changing your password
- Use a new password of 12 characters or more, mixing uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols
- After changing it, all logged-in sessions may become invalid, and you'll need to log in again
- If you use multiple devices, remember to update the API Key in your client after changing your password (the key itself is unaffected; only the login password changed)
Username vs. login email
- The username is for display only; you log in with your email
- Don't leave your email change half-finished — after changing it, your login email changes too
Protect your account
- We strongly recommend enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
- Linking a third-party login (such as GitHub) gives you a backup way to sign in
- If you want balance change notifications, enable balance alerts
