Link your login methods, enable Two-Factor Authentication and balance alerts
Link third-party logins (optional)
If the site supports it (GitHub / LinuxDo / WeChat / Google, etc.), we recommend linking at least one:
- Benefit: an extra login path if you forget your password
- How to: Profile → Login methods → Link the corresponding platform account
Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
We strongly recommend enabling it to prevent account theft if your password is leaked:
- Profile → Security settings → Enable Two-Factor Authentication
- Scan the QR code with a phone authenticator app (Google Authenticator / Microsoft Authenticator / 1Password, etc.)
- Enter the 6-digit code from the authenticator app to complete the setup
- Save the recovery code (offered by some sites) so you can recover access if you lose your phone
WARNING
- Once 2FA is on, every login requires a dynamic code
- Be sure to save the recovery code/backup key; otherwise, if you lose your phone you won't be able to log in and will have to contact support (support@kuaiapi.net) to reset it
Balance reminders
Once enabled, a reminder is sent (by email or another method) when your balance falls below the threshold you set:
- Profile → Notification settings
- Turn on "Low balance reminder"
- Set the threshold (for example $2)
- Confirm the reminder email address is correct
Benefit: it helps you avoid service interruptions caused by an exhausted balance, especially when automated tasks are running.
Account quota reminders
Some sites also support a "low account quota reminder" (a notification when a channel account's quota is nearly used up). Leaving it on helps you head off problems early.
